Naga Panchami
Naga Panchami is a traditional Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist festival dedicated to the worship of divine serpent deities known as Nagas. Devotees offer milk, sweets, flowers, and water to live cobras or to serpent images made of stone, silver, wood, or wall paintings. It occurs on the fifth day of the lunar fortnight (usually the bright half or Shukla Paksha) in the Hindu month of Shravana (July–August).
